Software Project/Delivery Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced project/delivery manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects.

Location: Swarthmore, PA; Wilmington, NC; Remote

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning:

  • Develop and maintain project plans outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements for product releases and patches.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.

Team Leadership:

  • Work with and motivate cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and other project members.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.

Risk Management:

  • Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.

Communication:

  • Facilitate communication between team members, stakeholders, and other relevant parties.
  • Provide regular project status updates and reports to management.

Resource Management:

  • Allocate resources effectively to meet project objectives.
  • Monitor and manage project budgets and timelines.

Client Interaction:

  • Work closely with internal and teams and/or clients to understand their requirements and expectations.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality solutions on time.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.

Requirements/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in software project management and delivery.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to make decisions and drive results.
  • Familiarity with software development processes and technologies.
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to navigate and resolve challenges during project execution.
